EFEKTIVITAS PENAMBAHAN BOKASHI AYAM DENGAN BERBAGAI DOSIS PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rizobacteria) AKAR PAITAN (Tithonia diversifolia) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN VEGETATIF TANAMAN TOMAT (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.)

This research on the effectiveness of adding chicken bokashi with various doses of PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria) from paitan root (Tithonia diversifolia) on the vegetative growth of tomato pIants (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) was conducted from October 2024 to December 2024 in Laing, Tanjung Harapan subdistrict, Solok city, West Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study was to determine whether using different doses of PGPR with chicken manure bokashi could enhance the vegetative growth of tomato plants. The experimentaI design used was a Randomized BIock Design (RAK) with 6 treatments and 4 blocks. Each treatment consisted of 4 experimental plants, making the total number of plants 96. The treatments applied were as follows: A0 = no treatment, A1 = 50 ml/L PGPR, A2 = 100 ml/L PGPR, A3 = 150 ml/L PGPR, A4 = 200 ml/L PGPR, and A5 = 250 ml/L PGPR. The observed parameters included pIant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), and the age at which 50% of the plants flowered (days). Based on the resuIts of the study, it was found that the appIication of PGPR with the addition of chicken manure bokashi did not significantly differ in plant height, stem diameter, and the age at which 50% of the plants flowered. Treatment A5 gave the best results for plant height, treatment A2 was the best for stem diameter, and treatment A3 was the best for the age at 50% flowering of tomato plants.
