Abstrak

Research on the effect of chicken manure doses on the growth and yield of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) varieties. ss sakato has been carried out in Jorong Limau Puruik Nagari Batu Banjanjang, Lembang Jaya District, Solok Regency, West Sumatra from March to June 2022. The aim of this study was to obtain the best dose of chicken manure for the growth and yield of the shallot (Allium ascalonicum L. ) variety ss sakato. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with six treatments and four groups. Each treatment consisted of 4 samples. The treatments used were chicken manure doses P1=0, P2=30, P3=60, P4=90, P5=120, and P6=150. The parameters measured were plant height (cm), tuber/plant fresh weight (g), and tuber/plant dry weight (g). From the research results on the application of chicken manure doses to the growth and yield of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) Var. SS Sakato, it can be concluded that the doses of chicken manure with various doses had significantly different values, ​​and the highest yield of fresh onion bulb weight was 53.38 g per plant in the P5 treatment. Still, the plant height and dry weight of the tubers per plant had a value that is not significantly different.
