Commissive speech acts in discourse dialogue with the candidates for mayor of
Pariaman-IJP- sympathizers aimed at explaining the form of speech act commissive and
contextual explanation. Commissive speech act is used in dialogue with sympathizers in the
form of speech promise and offer something. But the speakers did not use the speech act
commissive dengna form of oath. Commissive speech acts speech acts are used only with the
form of promises and offers, while the speech act with a form of oath was not found. In utter
promises and offers something of speakers seem to be careful in communicating with
supporters. This is done so that the speaker hearer does not feel offended or deceived by the
utterances of speakers. Because the purpose of a dialogue with the speakers of sympathizers
to steal sympathetic and settled on the speakers as the prospective head region. In addition to
speech acts speech acts commissive also found another use of a speaker and hearer in the
dialogue that is assertive speech act with the report form, mentions, and shows as well as
expressive speech acts in the form of criticism.

This study aimed to describe the causes of the Minangkabau people migrated in the short
story collection Pengantin Subuh karya Zulfemi Wimra, many interesting things to study,
especially regarding the causes of the Minangkabau people migrated. Short story is one form
of literature that is used as a means of letters in raising issues relating to the causes wander.
One of them is the short story works Zulfeni Wimra Bride dawn. The short story tells a lot
about the causes wander in terms of sociology of literature. The method used in this study is
a qualitative method that produces written data and events, about the shape of the causes
wander in the short story collection The bride Dawn Wimra Zulfemi work. The technique
used is descriptive, which is to describe in detail about the shape causes the Minangkabau
people migrated in the short story collection The bride Dawn Wimra Zulfemi work. The
results of this study causes Dawn Bride wander in the short story works Zulfemi Wimra as
economic, social, educational, cultural and religious.

This research was doing to know the effect of STAD method to improve exstensive
reading texs ability students of MTsS Halaban in 2014-2015 academic year. The population
and sample of this research the students of eight class. The research method used is
descriptive method. The data gathering by using observation, triangulation, and full
participant. Analysis of the data qualitative and also by using numeric and percentace.
Research design used is planning, acting, observing, and reflecting was consist of three
cycles. The result of the three cycles showed the improvement of students’ average score. The
students’ average score in Pre-Test were 48,27; at the end of the first cycle the students’
average scores were 64,00; at the test of the second cycle students’ average score achieve
82,70; and at the last test of the third cycle students’ average score achieve 86,70. It means
that the STAD method in learning activities can improve reading extensive texs ability

Background of this research was student’s communication activity during learning
process in classroom that used inapposite Indonesian language based on enhanced spelling
(Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan). The using of Indonesian language by Computer Informatics
Management program student class of 2015 was still under expectation. It could be seen from
conversation that happened in some classes; a lot of them were still doubtful and not
confident in using Indonesian language whereas, Indonesian language has been learned
since elementary school (SD), junior high school (SMP), senior high school (SMA), and also
in college. Aim of this research was to describe the effect of right and good Indonesian
language use in student’s conversation in Computer Informatics Management program class
of 2015 Economic Faculty University of Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin Solok 2015-2016
school year. This research used qualitative method with descriptive approach by using some
techniques: observing technique, listening technique and recording. In analyzing data, the
writer listened to the recording of student’s conversation utterance that was uttered by
student of Computer Informatics Management program class of 2015. After the data
collected, researcher classified and analyzed the result, and it would be displayed
descriptively as a form of research presentation. Based on the result and discussion that had
been conducted, the conclusions were as well; first they were as many as 41 non standard
data, 5 slang words and 1 foreign language that were found from object research, second,
lexical meaning was also found as many as 29 data.

The research is carried out to describe the role and position of bundo kandung as
woman who was instrumental in the formation of the next generation character in the local
Minangkabau’s novels during the new order. The research uses qualitative description
method , and content analysis approach. The result shows that the role and position of
women as bundo kandung have been carried out well enough both as a wife and a mother.
However, some might just take advantage materially from spouses in which the women or
wives cannot stay when things go wrong in their family. Even so, the role of women as bundo
kandung is shown through Rumah Mande attitude in taking care of their brother’s children.
In the novel, Persiden, bundo kandung is supposed to be taken into account of the
Minangkabau tradition. But, their position does not work as it is. The reason for this is men
who get the title as penghulu or mamak hold more power than bundo kandung does. Rinnai
Kabut Singgalang also shows that bundo kanduang’s authority is getting lessened in the eyes
of Minangkabau community. Bundo is simply a people’s symbol, but not to own full rights in
the formation personality children and children in his family. The novel Mengurai Rindu
describes women as bundo kandung have a great responsibility for their family, community,
and husband’s community. In this novel visible that women are not only responsible for the
formation of children’s personality, but is also able to protect her husband’s family
